You know it's too wet when even the Canada Goose seeks dry land!
Spotted this goose in the middle of the road in New Albany, OH as I left one of my appointments yesterday. We have had SO much rain. The weatherman last night said over 11 inches so far this month. Rain / storms are predicted every day this week so we'll probably break the record of the wettest April since 1937.
We discovered why the heron likes our yard so much. Our pond is so high that overflow water is going out the pipe into a low spot in the yard. With the water, goes the fish. Mr. Longlegs has been standing in the wet spot eating our fish!
Robin,
Will you be at Maryland Sheep and Wool this year? I'm hoping so!
E-mail and let me know!
Enjoy the wildlife! :)

We were supposed to have rain and thunderstorms today. It rained for about 5 minutes and was sunny the rest of the day. Gotta love those weathermen!

you feed the other birds (even starlings)...why not Mr. Longlegs too? It's been stormy here too. I'm about done with the tornado watch/warning thing.
