The hay has been baled.
The soybeans have turned the fields into seas of gold.
The corn has dried on the stalks.
The birds have abandoned their nests in the cattails.
The maple trees just can't stand it any longer and are starting to show a little color.
Fall is sneaking in slowly but surely.
Leaving a little dab of color everywhere it steps and on everything it touches.
Wow, you definitely have more Fall than we do. Here, some of the dogwoods have begun to change color, and a few leaves are falling from the fig tree, but the temperatures and most of the foilage still say Summer. I'm not ready for Winter, but I would love just a little more coolness.

I love the mums that folks put out in pots this time of year too. We're getting a little nip. The 90 degrees doesn't feel quite so hot as in the summer. Happy fall--happy dance.
