Robin, you sniff out so many interesting things -- I don't know how you do it. Just a very busy gal, I guess. :). Thought of you a couple of days ago when we happened to stay a night in the vicinity of Smith Mountain Lake!

The lamb's ear bows are adorable! I considered going, but instead the kids and I went to the Gorge and walked around, then went to Windmill, then Joann's and then the bookstore... Love that you are enjoying all the festivals in the area.

Went to the sheep and wool festival in Rheinbeck, NY. Very interesting! I use to knit but stopped, the daughter is very much into it! She went yarn crazy! The hubby was surprised..he thought it was going to be "chickified" know...boring...the man went crazy tasting cheese, wine, etc
Hope all is well!

Hi Robyn, Miss you and I am glad you are doing great. Butternut squash soup...By Hook or Cook cook book page 15. If your's still packed let me know and I will send it. Do you have the same e-mail address? The recipe is from Anne Williams and sounds gooood. Brenda God Bless.

Hi Robin!

I loved all the blog stuff...but I really liked the British soldier and his "housewife". I love making those! My favorite...the last picture on this posting...what a gorgeous shot! I'm so glad you are loving this new life in suits you well!

What cool pumpkin art! I loved the Caterpillar.

Your friends have lovely projects, that blanket looks sooooo soft even in pictures, I can only imagine what it must feel like in person.

Hey lady,

Do you still have same e-mail addy? Some of the Ktog knitters want to know. Please post on Ktog Yahoo site if different.
Looks like you're having fun. Loved the baby blanket yarn and the froo-froo baby sweater.
News from Ktog--Sadie has been very sick since Asher's arrival (infection/pneumonia) and Laura has moved to Lynchburg.
I'm off to SAFF this weekend. Looking forward to seeing fiber friends and shopping. Stay warm and no frogs, no tinks, just knits...

You certainly are having fun exploring your surroundings! Love that you are finding so much to do. Those lamb's ear bows are interesting, I have tons of it as well and will have to try that one! Maybe use them with the rosemary wreaths?!? Glad that you are getting settled in and working your way through the boxes...

LOVE the pumpkin art! What a great weekend!
