A lot of us that frequent Wooly Bully in Springboro are knitting this gorgeous shawl - Merging Ripple Shawl. It's so much fun to watch as each shawl develops because no two look alike. Some are using two solids, others are using one solid color with a variegated.
Merry is the first to finish hers. It is spectacular! The colors suit her to a tee. She blocked it Friday and wore it to knitting yesterday. Here she is proudly modeling her finished piece.
This next picture shows Merry's shawl in the background, then mine, and finally Donna's in the foreground. I love Donna's color choices with the soft turguoise blue - really a seafoam green/blue. I believe it's Manos and she's using Noro sock yarn held doubled for the multi-colored stripes.
Donna modeled her Autumn Scarf. What a neat accent accessory.
Joanne was knitting an owl scarf. She said it was in Interweave Knits and I found this one on Ravelry. Hope this is it.
Karen was knitting an adorable navy and white vest for her grandson for Easter.
Sara, a HUGE Cincinnati Reds fan, was knitting a cowl to wear on opening day.
Diana was working on a beautiful scarf. She told me the name and I forgot it. Should have written it down! I searched on Ravelry but didn't find it. The scarf was flared at the end which was so pretty.
I love my Saturday knitting group! These gals are just the BEST!
