Last Thursday night, I went to spinning. Not at Barnes & Noble but at Stringtopia Fiber Arts Studio in
Lebanon, Ohio. Abby Franquemont and Shelly have opened a brick and mortar on the main drag in Lebanon. Abby is a well-known author and teacher in the spinning community. The idea behind the studio is to offer lots of fibery educational opporunities - classes, gathering, etc.
Abby can be found everywhere - Facebook, here, Twitter, the web, Amazon, and now in Lebanon, Ohio!
Thursday nights at Stringtopia are Social Night - bring what you're working on - all yarn projects
welcome. Paula was there with her spinning wheel. Martha was using her wool combs to get her fiber ready for spinning. I was finishing up Miss B's mitts.
Abby has bins of fiber odds and ends that you can explore and choose from for her to make batts out of for you. I had her make two batts. They turned out beautifully! I can hardly wait to spin them up.
So, if you're in the Lebanon, OH area, make a stop at Stringtopia Fiber Art
Studio and get your spin on!
News here at home - my parents and Lily have arrived! YEAH! I'll post pictures soon!

Hooray for safe family arrivals! Ours come next week!!!!!
