In this red building - nothing fancy on the outside - is a wealth of creativity. It practically oozes through the walls.
This is the Loveland Artists Studios on Main in Loveland, OH where 28 artists work and share their talents with the public.
They work in a variety of mediums - glass, clay, fiber, paint, wood, metal, etc. - to express their creativity.
You will find rug hooking, punch needle, watercolor paintings, polymer clay, beading, stain glass, jewelry making, wood carving, photography, oil paintings, pastels, etc.
In a previous life, this building housed children and also served as a factory. It was reborn as art destination in 2005.
Studios on Main is open for Second Saturday each month from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Visitors can browse the studios, meet the artists, learn about their mediums, purchase artwork, sign up for classes, and enjoy light refreshments.
I stopped by to purchase some polymer clay supplies from Lynda and ended up roaming around the building and taking in all the artwork on display. Made me want to go home, quit my job, and make stuff full-time! Maybe one of these days......sigh.......

There was a full moon last night. Better to see the TWO skunks in my flower garden! I knocked on the window but it didn't phase them. So, I raised the window and made noises and they ran off toward
the border of trees along the edge of our property. I put down more Deer Scram - maybe the fresh stuff will keep them away tonight. There's another full moon so we'll see.

Picked lots of flowers this morning. I filled the seven containers that you see in the picture on the left.
I planted Zinnias from seed this year and they are thick as thieves! They are such happy flowers!
The vegetable garden yielded a few more squash this week, tomatoes, and cucumbers. There are two
green peppers that are almost ready. We had a terrible storm one night that blew the tomato plants over on top of everything else. Andy built a tent-shape support and tied the tomato plants to it. I planted two tomato plants - one Celebrity that has regular size tomatoes and the other one (can't remember the name) has tomatoes a little larger than cherry size. Both plants are simply loaded! I counted nine large tomatoes on one Celebrity branch alone.
Speaking of creativity --- tomorrow is knitting day!
More later!
Thanks for reading!
