I'm back in the business of knitting tiny socks and sweaters. My Signature Needles arrived today. Sweetly wrapped in blue tissue paper and in their own little silver drawstring bag. (The bag should have been lined in REAL silver for how much the little buggers cost! Just saying!) I'm going to LOVE these needles! The tips are fabulous! I ordered a pair of circulars for a friend and they look wonderful, too.
Today, did the sky look bluer or was it just me??
Have you ever seen a Pot Marigold (aka Calendula)? Here's a picture (to the left) of one. So many dense layers of petals. I tried to grow them in my Virginia garden but was never successful. I buy Calendula petals in bulk and use them in my soap. They're supposed to be one of the few flower petals that hold their color in hot process soap making.
The Pink Poodle Echinacea has all of a sudden gone crazy with blooms. They start out regular looking and then go wild with petals all over. They look kind of poodle-ish, don't they?
I can't resist another picture of the Giant Coneflowers. Love them!
