You can't tell because he's lying down but Earl Gray is getting almost svelte eating the weight reduction kitty food.
I'm probably boring you with more pictures of my garden flowers but I'm making the most of them while I can. The Giant Coneflower is terrific! I could fill my whole garden with just these. I love that I can sit at the table in the sunroom and see the tops of them. They're so tall! When the petals first appeared, the cone was just plain but not - starting at the base of the cone and moving up to the tip - these little very dark blooms are opening.
The Lime in the Coconut Coneflower is blooming like crazy! It's just stays full of blooms.
I love these Lantana. I bought three different colors and they're blooms are so bright and sweet.
Now, on to my Little Something .......................
This is what remains of my Brittany DPNs.
I will NEVER again work anything on wooden size 0 needles.
The results were totally worth the aggravation!
At one of this year's fiber festivals, I bought a similar one. (Their sock wasn't quite this shape.) When I got home, I remembered that I bought an sock earring kit years ago. I pulled it out and attempted to knit the sock on those size 0000 DPNs. Life is just too short so I decided to switch to the size 0 needles. This is the size I normally knit socks on so I thought it would work.
Next, I'm going to try to make a teeny tiny sweater also to be used as a bookmark.
Last night, I ordered a set of Signature Needles' Double Points in a size 0. They're outrageously expensive but will be so totally worth it.
